My Top 10 Makeup Brushes


As much as the product is important, without the right tool, it kind of loses its charm. So here is my top 10 makeup brushes. Before getting into the list here are some simple guidelines to follow:

-Never apply too much pressure while working with a brush. It leads to patchy makeup application.

-Good brushes never waste the product. It picks just the right amount of product for application.

MAC 217 Blending Brush

I cannot just do without this brush. I use this to apply crease colour, blend my eye makeup as well as blend concealer. Its just a fabulous brush!


Real Technique Buffing Brush

Cost effective, this brush helps blend the foundation extremely well and very quickly. A little product goes a long way!


NARS Ita Brush

There isnt another brush quite like this one. Perfect for creating that chiselled face, the ITA is absolutely the best!


Bobbi Brown Lip Brush

I like the fact that it comes in a case which helps keep the bristles protected and the lip colour on the bristles to smudge all over the brush case!


Sigma Duo Fiber Brush F50

No one blends quite like this one. I use this to blend my foundation when I am looking for heavy coverage. It helps press the product into the skin and buff it really really well.

  1. Most of the brushes I use are from Sigma and I love them. I really want to try that Nars Ita brush but having trouble finding it.
